Admin Console

An Organization is an organic structure that consists of a group of members to perform some given tasks. Having said that, you need to have a robust and centralized control center to manage all your Org members account and logs. So, we have specially designed an Admin Console for Administrators to have control over their domains, users' access, mail administration, privileges, applications, IP restrictions, Groups and so on..


Get to know about the basic theme of Admin Console before you actually start with. Here is an overview:



Domains

Add a domain that you already own and host mails with Zoho. Hosting mail with Zoho, helps you to send and receive domain based emails. Zoho offers domains where you can purchase at a very reasonable rates and even opt for secure and private registration. You can add domain based e-mail IDs, Add Users and Import Users in bulk.



Users

You can add users to your Organization to communicate and discuss with each other. You can add users based on domain based email IDs or even other external e-mail IDs(Gmail, Yahoo, Aol etc.,) You can also import users, change user role and location, change primary email ID, disable, disassociate and delete Users.



Groups

In large organizations, groups are formed for better people management. The groups can be segregated according to different domains or work areas. Organization groups can be as diverse as Sales group, Finance groups, Technical groups, Management, Development and many others. The Super Admin of the organization can set policies for his groups, create group alias email ids, etc.



Privileges

You can define Organization Privileges to restrict or permit specific rights to your organization members. By default, permissions for creating organization/personal group and sharing, publishing document is given to all organizations members. Roles defined are Super Administrator, Administrator or Moderator, and users.



Applications

Zoho Mail Suite provides 6 applications, by default. Zoho allows you to add your favorite third party applications and can have access under one single window. You can also delete the applications which you do not use and re-add them if necessary.



IP Restriction

An IP address is an unique address which is given for system(s) associated within a network. Therefore an IP or the Internet Protocol is just a series of addresses to identify a system. In Zoho, the administrator can set the number of IPs that are given access to their organizational account. Accessing the account is not possible beyond these IPs.



SAML Authentication

Security Assertion Markup Language. SAML is a derivative of XML. The purpose of SAML is to enable Single Sign-On for web applications across various domains. SAML will be supported for ORGANIZATION users. An organization administrator can configure the SAML URL and the public key. An user from the organization should login with his/her domain say "https://.business.zoho.com". The user will be redirected to the IDP provided for SAML with the SAML request for authentication. The IDP will authenticate and send us the SAML response. If the response is success, a ticket will be generated for him and will be set in the cookie.
